Hi Ingrid,

Any deaths in Queensland for John Or Mary?

I wonder when James made his way to Queensland if he was born in Maitland?

Ingrid,
Can not find a birth certificate for James. I ordered a certificate for James, Father John and Mother Mary. When it arrived it was a record of Baptism and was for James with Father John and Mother Mary McCann. James' marriage and Death Certificates both say he was born , Maitland NSW. I am stumped.
Patricia.

Alison,
I have found this one also but Mary's name is recorded as Shanklin not Mc Cann on both James' Marriage Certificate and his Death Certificate.
Patricia.

Trying to find Mary Shanklin who married John Linden c1850. They had a son James Linden born c1852, Maitland New South Wales, Australia. I am not sure where Mary or John hail from. Any help would be appreciated.
