I am trying to find Joseph on the 1841 census but no luck :-(
He stated on his marriage certificate that his Father was George Papps a Cab proprietor, that was in 1854, but i cant find any trace of George at all.
I can find Joseph on the 1851 census onwards, but if anyone has any ideas or tips as to locating Joseph or his Father before that they would be gratefully received!
Also, are their any others out there with London Papp's with a Cabbie or coaching ancestor? Perhaps there is a connection?
