Have you got Walters Fathers name from Walters marriage certificate?
I cannot see a marriage for a Charles Davies to anyone called Bevan - the one in 1911 is the only one I can see.
I think you need to get Walters birth certificate to find the names of his parents.
I do not understand your last statement - never guess when someone was married or born from the age of their children.
Had a quick look for Charles Davies as a painter and decorator in 1911 - could not see one.

hi,thanks for replying.
ihave now discovered that walters brother was not called frank but called henry davies.he was born in 1917 and there mothers maiden name was bevan.i hope this helps

There were more than 30 Walter Davies's born in 1915 in England and Wales.
