What is the relevance of the name Henry Whittaker? Is he reputed to be related to Emily?

Start by looking at the FREE 1881 census, to establish whether Emily had any siblings at that time.

Then look on search trees for their details. If anyone on here is researching them - send a message.

dear helper,i am trying to find the brothers and sisters of emily whittaker born in 1876 and died in1918 she was my grandmother .she married a george morton in 1902ish and had 1 boy [my father] and 2 girls.i would like to get in touch with their descendents,they came from around york fulford and heslingden .i was told a henry whittaker was either buried in york minster ,and or he was lord major of york .your help would be much apprciated mgt
