Can anyone have a look for mis-transcriptions etc on 1901 and 1911 census please?

Emma RUNHAM appears on 1891 census in Bethnal Green with her son Joseph Cooper and his sisters Charlotte and Sarah Cooper. Emma is a widow. I have the earlier census of her with her first husband, Robert COOPER. The only death I can find for Emma is in 1917 in Camberwell - she is aged 81 which would give a roughly correct birth year but the family appear to have stayed in Bethnal Green (up to 1891 anyhow). If that is her, I should be able to find her on 1901 and 1911 census but I have drawn a blank. Her maiden name, in case it helps is GURLING and she was born around 1838 in Spitalfields.

Yes, Londonbelle - I think she was only married to Mark Runham for about a year before he died. The witnesses are her son Joseph and Elizabeth Bennett is likely to be her daughter but I haven't followed that up yet.

Ginny - I don't think that is her. Those names don't mean anything I am afraid.

The one with Emma Hill is a possibility (although she should be Runham). She did have a daughter Emma (age is off though). She also had Mary 1860; George 1862; Emma 1867 and Elizabeth 1868 (as well as Jospeph, Charlotte and Sarah as above). I was wrong about my assumption of Elizabeth - she married Henry PLUMB in 1888 - Emma is not with them in 1901.

The one in Lambeth - mmmm?? wrong area but could tie in more closely with a death in Camberwell. ???

Forget that Pruncham women Ive found her in the 1881 with Jemmima Harris!

Tempest - I think that is Joseph Cooper (boarder) with probably his Uncle - I have not researched his father Robert Fowler Cooper yet so cannot be fully certain but the occupation clinches it I think.

Londonbelle - you may be onto something here! I believe Mark Runham died in 1885 in Bethnal Green so they were married for just under a year. She could of reverted to Cooper - especially if she was with one of her children. I will investigate the Cooper - Goodridge marriage. Thankyou!

Fairy Godmother - yes, I have that. They were married after Joseph eldest was born. His name is actually Joseph Gurling Fowler Cooper (!). The Cooper's were Blacksmiths as was Joseph.
