20 odd replies,couldnt believe my eyes when I came back from washing up ect. Mike, I have the marraige cert for Robert an Eliza and its def 1957 , the 7 i would say IS a 7 not a 1. very strange. I WILL NOW HAVE A THOROUGH LOOK THROUGH ALL YOUR MESSAGES( OOPS capitals) A really big THANK YOU to everyone for your help xx

I hope you mean 1857 not 1957 .

It's definately recorded as 1851 on both freebmd and Lancashirebmd.

lol yes 1857 i was born 1957. I see what you mean MIke , having compared the info you lovely people sent and the marraige cert i have, I am coming to the conclusion that it must be a badly written figure 1even though it looks like a 7. I had William as his fathers name on cert but not mothers name so very pleased that I now know it thanks to you all.
