Hello,
I am trying to find information about Susannah Harris and her family. she was born in Manchester in 1885. On the 1891 census she comes up as an inmate (probably a boarding school) along with her sister Maria born 1882. On the 1901 census Susannah, Maria and 3 other sisters are living at 20 Ruth Street Salford. Susannah's mother is listed as Maria, born 1863, her place of birth is listed as South African Resident. It states she is married but no father is living at the address.

I am trying to find out who Susannah's father was and her mothers maiden name. Also I am unable to find Maria (mother) on any UK census prior to 1901 although her children were born in Manchester/Salford between 1882 and 1900.

Can anyone help.
