Have you got the marriage certificate for 1900 I just wondered how you know he is still alive?

Thomas Wright bricklayer and Alice Wright cotton weaver shown in 1861 (above) with Thomas's birthplace given as Ireland. Living in Salford.

Thomas Wright bricklayer and Alice Wright cotton weaver in 1871 and 1881, living in Salford, with Thomas's birthplace given as Nantwich, Cheshire. They have a daughter, Sarah A, born 1867.

Hi Ginny. Thanks for your help. I am looking into my friends tree for her. She has given me a pile of names and dates and I said I would flesh out the bones for her. Maybe I need to start again and not rely on this info. I have just found his daughters marriage cert 1900 and he is still alive, so I don't know where she got that death date from sorry! x

Where have you got the info from please?

There is no death for a Thomas Wright age 35 in Manchester in 1875

If you can let us know what facts you have we can make sure you get the correct info on your family

Hi could anyone help me find Thomas Wright painter and decorator born 1840 and died 1875 in Manchester. His wife was Alice and his parents were James and Hannah Wright. Maybe also look up James and Hannah 1841/1851 census. Many thanks if anyone can help
