You've settled on one of these??
I don't always enjoy a good guessing game.
When, where and whom did he marry?
Have you identified his death? If so, will you share?
How did you settle on whatever 1901 birth it is you've settled on? I don't understand why you would know the quarter but not the date -- or why you would offer the quarter but not the date, if you know it ...

Lindsey, I don't understand "perhaps he uesed William as a first name".
You mean perhaps it wasn't but he used it?
Marriage of your 1911 couple for info.

You mean he might have been this one?
TAYLOR, Herbert William Son 11 1900 Hoxton
Lisa, how do you know "William Henry Taylor >> born in the first quarter of 1901"?
|
i think you need to buy his birth cert to make sure you have the right birth. GRO wont check against parents, so its pot luck.
|
Lisa, if William Henry was born 1901 ish he wouldn't have been married 1911 so what makes you think his father could have died by then?
Do you know where and when William Henry died?

Hello Lisa - what was Thomas James' occupation on the marriage certificate, and when/where did that wedding take place?
Can you give an address and witnesses from it?
As much as you've got - anything can help us track people down!
Where did you get William Henry's birth? - if it was registered first quarter 1901 he could have been born end 1900.

Hi, Everyone, Is there anyone out there up for a challenge in a quest to find my husbands ancestoral family? I could really do with lots of help and I know there's a genius out there somewhere who could crack the case.
"OH PRETTY PLEASE :0)"
I was wondering if anyone out there can help me, I'm trying to find a William Henry Taylor born in the first quarter of 1901 in London apparently he was a true cockney if that helps, I have no other info apart from his father was Thomas james taylor but he may have been dead by 1911 ( as he was down as deceased on a wedding certificate of William Henry's) so his mother would have been a widow, I did find a family of taylors in the west Ham district but have since had it confirmed that they are the wrong ones, I would so dearly love to find this family as my husbands side of the tree is looking so sad.
thanks so much in advance
