Hi Wendy - well I did say I might be back for help !!.

Daniel Hunt marr. Sophia Boultby (Boulsby in OPR and various other spellings around too) Gedling All Hallows 1822.

Have found 2 Hunt baptisms - Mary 1823 and Charlotte 1826 ? any more before Sophia's death 1834 (bur. Gedling).

I possibly have Daniel (and Mary aged 16) on the 1841 census on Carlton Hill with a Sarah. There is a marriage Gedling All Hallows 4.11.1839 of a Daniel Hunt to a Sarah Cumberland. Could you check the marriage please for all details so I can confirm/deny Daniel is 'mine'. I believe his Father was another DanieI, but might be wrong. Is Sarah single or a widow - 1851 census has her born Arnold and there is an 1820 marriage there of an Edward Cumberland to a Sarah Chapman.

Mary Hunt b 1823. Check marriage please Gedling aged 22 to John Haynes 27.4.1845. Is it Mary d/o Daniel. Mary is a widow on the 1851 (John buried Gedling aged 21 in 1846) ? Did she remarry (as Haynes) to John Kirk at Gedling 15.3.1853

Charlotte - b 1826 - can't find 1841/51 but there is a marriage at Gedling 13.10.1851 - to a John Liney ? is she mine. Or did she die between 1826 and 1841 (not found). Coincidentally there is a Charlotte of the right age visitor with Mary in 1851, but dittoed as Haynes, plus son (whose) John aged 1.

George Boultby - baptised Boulsby 19.8.1804 Gedling - is there an 1807 death/burial - an ancestry tree has 13.11.1807 Carlton (but has him born Carlton, USA, so I'm not so sure about the death !!)

Mary Boultby/Boulsby baptised 28.12.1798 Gedling - any death/marriage for her that jumps out please?

Thank you so much - GG

Wendy - thank you so much, I wasn't expecting you to do all of that so soon - you're an angel !!

No need for siblings thanks, have managed to find most online but it's the finer details that come from the actual record that isn't otherwise available.

My apologies for getting Ernest's parents wrong - a generation out as Ernest and Florrie's son was Clifford Ernest. Teach me to rush.

Thanks also for the marriage PM's so far. Look forward to receiving the JosephGriffin/ Mary Ann Mitchell one that you have said you'll PM, but PLEASE, no rush for the other 2. Am only too grateful that you are around and so helpful.

EDIT - Griffin attachment also received, thanks

Hi Wendy,

Please could check the fiche for All Saints, Syerston for a baptism on 2 Jul 1797. The name is George Challand (parents George and Mary) and in the Notes column of the Notts FHS database it says "Family details on fiche".

I am struggling with the family going back beyond George (1797) so any help would be appreciated.
