Ronnie..you need the certs to verify it's the parents..

Yes I know it's expensive but NO proper research and verification can be done without the certs.

yes i have been successful with Emilys parents.

Jane Dean 1821-Wandsworth london married William Bramley 1820 of Andover Kent.
Emily White Bramley 1855 Chelsea married Thomas Smith 1855?
Laura Ann Smith 1882 Barnsley married Samuel Lloyd1878
Emily Lloyd 1908 Barnsley Married Cecil Booth1901 Barnsley
Mary Melina booth (mum)1931-1995

I hope That i have not got this wrong, may be a couple of years out on age but believe to be accurate.
please tel me i am right.

People have been telling me this for a while but i think it ma be the distant yorkshire man in me. lol

How have you decided Emily Lloyd born 1908 is your one yes that is the only one living in Barnsley that would fit so you could well be right if of course she came from Barnsley

I am not sure about Laura Ann's parents at the moment seems strange London to Barnsley?

Only geussed as name location and marriage seemed to fit, I am going to have to get certs now as i have doubts.
Sorry if i sent you on a wild goose chase
I agree it is indeed odd but i thought i had gone back through the census links ok, Maybe Not

This is where i believe what i see,
I have very strong memories of the family being from Gawber and remember Cecil working for the north gawber coal board. where he looked after the pit ponies.

Tree on Ancestry.co.uk say parents of Sam who married Sarah Ann Wood were David Booth 1851 and Harriett Wilby 1852 they had 6 children.
Parents of Harriett Wilby were James Wilby 1820_ 1898 and Sarah Hampshire 1820 - 1897.
Please check info off the tree.
