but I cant find her birth reg under Sanders or Spanner

Have tried in vain to find a marrriage Spanner to Sanders (the first marriage) - your best bet is get the birth cert for Grace which will give you her fathers name or her wedding cert which will also give his occupation

gillian thats the correct wedding between gran and grandad

i just caant make how great gran went from spanner to sanders to spanner again lol

i have on the pluss side found we are pedigree names on isle of white and they have a tree for me but does not go as far as where i am now with the lillie spanner questions lol

No obviously not as they are actually one and the same person

This is that 1921 marriage. If her birth year is correct then she was only 14 when Grace was born.

When did she marry Alfred Mew??

The 1921 marriage that Glitter posted gives Lily Florence's father's name as Frederick Herbert Spanner, clerk. Certainly looks like yours!

Someone has amended this but it says Salter on the original.
