Could someone, please lookup 1871 Census for William Pickersgill.
Born about 1829 in Kingston Upon Hull Yorkshire. In 1881 he was in Liverpool, i have him on the Census. Dont know where he was before then!!!

This looks like Sarah J's birth, have you got her sisters, and any birth certificates?

No! thats why i wanted 1861/1871 Census when i seen he was a widower in 1881. He has A daughter maryann she was married 1872. Born about 1855.

If Sarah Jane was born in 1880, and William was a widower by 1881, his wife must have died between those 2 dates.
Nothing obvious.
Birth certificate will give mother's maiden name.

Unless Sarah is Louisa's Daughter???

He ain't coming up in either 1871 or 1861.

Odd that in 1881 he has two daughters ago 19 and 13, and one age 1.

These girls may not be Pickersgills. Have you got births for them?

How do you know he had a daughter Maryann b 1855? I can't find one.
