I am trying to find Henry John Finch b about 1819 in Westminster, but may be in Londons East end area!
He married Margaret Finnegan in 1837, St. George in the East.
His wife and her family came from St. George in East area.
Any clues as to his birth, parents, sibling etc would be most welcome.

Thanks safc, it's a possibility!

Have just found a death entry, and 1841/51 census references for him. He died 1854 aged 35, and on the 1851 census he states his age as 31 - meaning born c1819/1820.

He could have lied about his age.

PS I am away from computer until 5pm-ish. I have to return to work!!
