Hainv grown up in a children's home I am building my tree little by little. Thank you once again, will update thread if I find out anything else, I have just send mail to archive on newspaper

	The newspaper report would normally mention a man's children in such circumstances......... Have you checked the same paper for his obituary?

	Perhaps the marriage was outside of England/Wales Were there any offspring?

Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 191 Send Message	Having just received newspaper cutting of the death of Donald I now know that he was married to a 'Joan' doctor. The accident happened in Hampshire where they were living at the time. I also know he was a Lance Corporal in the Army in 1941 Donald was born in 1913 and killed in 1966, I know his parents Sidney Percy Whelan and Ruth Kitty Dearden and I know he had a sister Hilda (not a lot known about her) she and Donald were born in Croydon. I have checked BMD but cannot find a marriage for Donald to Joan? Any other ideas please?
