If anyone could help me with Alfred L Dickens' death or their divorce or whatever because I don't know what happened and he is my biological G Grandfather I think, my Mother always heard him be called Leslie. He may have died in Hampshire, if he died at all..
Cant really find a Birth ether, but perhaps a 1911 one I found in Brentford[close to Brent/Willesden I guess].

It doesnt look like there were any siblings. As she seemed to have been known as Betty the registering her as that name on her death cert isnt a problem .

Hi Catherine, no idea about siblings...she never spoke about them, I was only 8 when she died unfortunately so didn't ask too many questions and neither of my parents have any idea other than what I said in the first post sadly..I think all her children and her children's children just know what she told them, which seems not all to be the truth.

thankyou :)) and Elizabeth as her Mother's name is interesting...someone told me she was called Elizabeth really and not Betty, but Bessie does sound more like it. Wondering if Evelyn was even her real middle name now.
What happens if someone is registered dead by the wrong name? Because I don't even think my Father knew her name was actually Bessie...unless she changed it by depol..will have to look into that.
