Yes, but research has stumbled upon Cassell Emile Banov again and i am determined to find out whats gone on.

Other members of my distant family started a tree on ancestry and they have his details in there too, unfortunately where they got their info from i will never know as we are not a close family.

I will wait for my certs see what they show up.

TIA

The Cassell Banov in Ohio in 1910 is a pawn broker. The retail jeweller job description is for the next person on the census record.

Against Banov it states that he arrived in the USA in 1892.

Its not arrived yet i am still waiting for it.

I guess i should not presume intil i have it infront of me but, the surname is unusual and Joseph Banov b 1919 is my grandad and Fanny Goldberg his mother.

I the details from BMD and Ancestry on the marriage, but it just seems weird there is no trace of him not even a death? Even with the worldwide mebership on ancestry it turned up nothing :(

Cassell Emile Banov c 1880 Russia / USA

Married Dec 1906 to Fanny Goldberg Prestwich Manchester UK

He is not on any UK Census.

Found 1 entry for him in the USA 1910 Census of Ohio as a Lodger and i think what says a Merchant Retailer of Jewellery and it says Married.

He fathered my grandad in 1919 Manchester Prestwich, we are presuming as Fanny is on his B Cert.

But i cannot for the life of me find any other details.
