Coming back to Jane Ann Atkinson and Margaret Coatsworth 1891 census:

Where are their husbands? Both married, I presume Jane lived there and Margaret was visiting.
They probably didn't have children by then either

Can't see him in 1891 but as he's a seaman he may have been away.

Jane Ann's husband remains a mystery, as they married in Birkenhead (civil marriage) Thomas may have been born there (found record 1860)
