Hi everyone.
I am looking for my ggrandmother Henrietta Channell, born abt 1874. She married Robert John Wood.
I know her father was Henry Channell, but I am unsure about her mother...I thought she was Ellen stevens but I then saw he later married Agnes Newson who was their housekeeper!!! and they had 3 children and I cant see Henrietta. I find a Henrietta with her grandparents in one census but I dont know if this is the correct Henrietta.
I also cannot trace Ellen Stevens anymore..

These are all definately her. I wonder why she is not in the census with Ellen her mother.
Maybe Henry had an affair with his housekeepr and Henrietta was sent to live with her grandpaarents ( Ellen's parents)
Ellen seems to be completely out of the picture and never seen in the census with her mother.

Siblings? Both have address 37 Gower's Walk, father a letter sorter.

As for the census 1891, I had seen this but was unsure if it was her as it looks like one l in Channell and the year of birth was about 9 years difference, but it could be her and I may have my info incorrect.

My Henrietta is definately the second one married to my ggrandfather Robert John Wood.
Her Father is Henry Maurice Channell but am unsure to her mother.

Here is a Henry Channell again a postal worker.
I have him as a postal worker married to Agnes Newson and before that Ellen Stevens and also again to someone called Jane and in each record he is a postal worker...coincidence.
