Just put glasses on. The story is Charles Witty b 1842 was a master on clipper going to Australia his wife is Jane Bedford. I have this info from an elderly person. They had a son also called Charles Witty born 1863 who married Alice Lucretia Ward. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

There ARE records of a Chas Witty arriving in Australia, apparently as a cre member.

BUT, if the marriage and census posted are your Charles then the one going to Australia is a different person.
