I'm trying to find info on a Jane Driver nee Pont. born c1831 in Brighton.....Jane married Charles Driver on 15/10/1860 in Lambeth, London..I have tried to find her on census's but no luck...Also looked for death etc but still no luck... |

Looks like Jane disappeared between 1871 and 1881. She may have died or just taken herself off somewhere. He may not have married Annie and her forename may have been a nickname/middle name, I suppose. |

On the 1901 it says Annie was born in Plymouth! As Charles is shown in every census 1861-1901 as being a painter, born in Yarmouth c 1835, I think there's little doubt that he is your man. |

There's a death of a Jane Driver, St Saviour's, Southwark, Dec qr 1871: I think that's the right reg'n district for at least one of the big hospitals. |
