could anyone help me trace william brew and what he was or what he did in connaught rangers,my nan has a picture of him in his uniform,so we can see it was part of his life we dont know anything about...as he was a young man in picture...heres hoping ..claire..i dont know alot re john brew(1834)williams father either...so confusing..so many brews and loftus s...with so many different spelling....

patrick loftuses father was thomas loftus who married a margaret begley...

So,we are looking for connections to a William Brew dob 1872,who s parents names were Honara Loftus dob 1835 and john brew dob 1834,honara had a sister called margaret dob 1831 honora and margarets dad was called patrick loftus and john brews dads name was michael brew.williams sibblings included john brew dob 1866 frances brew 1861 eliza brew 1864 George brew dob 1868 honora brew 1860 john and hannora married in 1858. we are looking fot connections to all of the above...heres hoping....:)

Only a long shot but we found that William had a sister and the oldest of the family Frances so I am wondering if this could be John Brew before being married, with his family.
