Does anyone have access to the parish records, looking for the address of William Henryy Pickett born 13th November 1908 at the time of his birth ? :-)

Abit more on E. Pickett of the glass business
Born Edward Pickett 1872 St Helens Lancs son of John and Hannah who had a Botanic Beer manufacturing business
Hannah already widowed, died in Leeds in 1910 so Edward probably used the proceeds of his parents business to start him of in the glass business (In 1891 he is Clerk to Glass merchant)
He died 1937 in Leeds

But I cant see any obvious connection with your William

Had a look on the McCourt and Pickett trees on Ancestry but I'm afraid there is no death record on the trees

From the censuses attached to the records found that Isabella was born in Cape Town SA
Her parents were William Monaghan Thornton b 1817 Ireland and Isabella b 1828 Scotland

The William Pickett b 1879 on the 1911 census posted by Shirley is William and Isabella's firstborn

Are you sure that it was William who had a glass business in Leeds -Google provides info on E. Pickett & Co at Hunslet Road Leeds (next door to the Crown Hotel) and provided stained glass window in1963 for the Baptistry of St Johns Ben Rhydding
The family home said to be in Ilkley until demolished 2001

This was William living in Bolton in 1911 census but I have been told that he had a glass business in Leeds in 1932 ??
