He isn't the William Trousdale who died in London in 1975 or 76,

Can I ask how you know this is not his death?

Could the person who registered it not known where he was born? and where was this person born?

jax

jax Report 16 Oct 2011 20:51

You said in your opening post he is sometimes listed as Trousdale or Tronsdale....where is this as you only have a birth for him

K83 Report 16 Oct 2011 20:53

It was his doctor, and he was born in london. He is the other one in the 1913 births.

So a doctor is going to know where he was born ? or perhaps he asked him before he died?

Lol, 1945. My father last saw him around then.He had been in London throughout the war, he was a boiler designer or something so wasn't called up. The other William is coincidental and I really thought it was him until I saw the death certificate. He died of self neglect so I was gutted!

KME

You're driving me nuts!

What else do you know about him and how have you got back to him...start at the begining

:-)

You might be right, I didn't think it was him because his birth is listed as London and that was where the other one was born. I guess the only way to solve it is to get his birth certificate and match his birth date to the certificate.

If he had been in London for 30 years anyone may have thought thats where he was born anyway

Gee Report 16 Oct 2011 21:23

I have all my BMDs at work and cant remember if they had birth places on them?

I dont think they do and they range from 1800s - 2009

K83

K83 Report 16 Oct 2011 21:41
