Why could'nt he have gone by the name Deaton? it was only months before his mother married...back then they did'nt normally tell the children they were born before marriage

Thats right Grace was unmarried and her maiden name was trousdale.. William kept her maiden. She married Christopher Deaton in 1913 the same year he was born.

Maybe you need to send for the birth certificate and then there is more chance of finding William

Looking at his birth, Id guess his mom wasnt married? Maybe this is her

Hi, I don't know his exact d.o.b. I don't think he would have married before 1945. He was in London during the war and my father (his brother) lost contact with him around 1945.
I don't know if he married or if so who to.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.
I'm trying to find when William M Trowsdale died. He was born in Stockton-on-Tees Durham in Apr-May-June 1913. He is sometimes listed as Trousdale or Tronsdale etc.
I can't find any marriage records for him either.
He isn't the William Trousdale who died in London in 1975 or 76, any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
