This is very confusing, not sure if this will help but my dad said Gertrude was known as Nancy he had never heard the name Gertrude when he was younger, used within the family, could it be her first name

but that is 40 miles away. (Unless one of them was staying with relatives, and it was wartime...)

My dad said she died before Arthur, so before 1947

Cannot see a Gertrude Bartlett birth in Cheltenham.
Any idea of when or where she died?

Richard Dennis is the one with mmn Bartlett that i posted above.

The 1911 census says married 18 years BUT maybe they didnt marry !!

Arthur died 1947- Heathtown Wednesfield
Richard Dennis died 1972- Birmingham 9c 1282

can't find a relevant bartlett / taylor marraige or birth for a getrude bartlett,

His full name is Richard Dennis Taylor b 1912, i think in Weston Under Lizard

Is this his death please?
