Have you looked for a marriage for them on FreeBMD

One of their childrens birth certs will give her maiden name too

Could some one please help find my great nan's maiden name, she is Gertrude, married to Arthur Taylor, they lived in Wolverhampton, she was born 1870 in Cheltenham Glos
