Potty, Josephs parents were Joseph (Labourer) and Agnes (ms Brown).

Jessie Ann Tait Blythe parents were William Blythe (Shipwright) and Ann (ms Tait)

They married 17-10-1902.
Joseph was a Sugarhouse Labourer and Jessie was (looks like)
Merries Mill Worker? She was 20 and he was 22.

What is Joseph's age on the marriage cert? and his occupation and parents' names? With that info we should be able to find him in 1901 on Ancestry - no images though.

Edit: sorry, just realised it is their son's marriage cert you have. You should be able to download Joseph and Jessie's marriage cert from scotlandspeople.

GB, no I don't have birth cert, I have marriage cert but I will get the birth cert. Thank you.

Do you have the 1903 birth cert ?

If a Scottish one it should show the date the parents married.

I found their sons marriage on there (1933) but the writing isn't very good, perhaps I should ask for 1901 lookup.

Can someone please look up the census for (it looks like )
Joseph Hill born c1903 he was married to Jessie Blythe, all in Greenock, Renfrewshire. I'm not too sure about the christian names as they're not very clear. I know they had a son born 1903 called William Anderson Hill.
