1851 census clearly shows 2 Henry's - 1 born in Standish and 1 in Dalton.

Hi Dea, yes i have the certificate, the witnesses are Henry Eccleston and Sarah Ann Eccleston whom i presume to be bother in law and sister of the bride. The brides father was William Pendleton, residence for bride and groom are given as Poolstock Wigan. Groom is aged 22 and bride as 28' all signed with a cross.

hi Dea, this all i know;
the henry on my tree was born abt 1846 in Standish but no record of birth,
my tree lists his father as Nicholas Bimson b1823 Croston, his grandfather was Luke bimson b 1787 Mawdesley.
The correct Henry married Alice Pendleton on 3/8/1868 at Wigan Register Office on 3/8/1868 no father listed on certificate so there is nothing to say which family he comes from, later census records say he was born in Dalton which would tie in with another Henry b1845 whose father was also called Henry and a completely different family. I have no idea which is the correct Henry

The Henry i am trying to find was born abt 1845 in the Wigan area, probably Standish or Dalton, I cannot find any record of his birth and i think that my family tree which was passed to me by a cousin has the wrong Henry and therfore the wrong family prior to 1845.
