all it says is J Mills labourer I've tried to add the part of cert with his name so people can see it's J not T but it will not let me add

Just a quick look before I go out.

I'm in agreement with what's been found so far. I've had a Thomas transcribed as a James. Everything you've found seems to fit.

Why you couldn't find your post, Mary, was because it had moved to page 2. When you open up a longish thread, it's always a good idea to click 'Post Date' in the bar above the thread date. That will take you to the latest post.
