Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	According to a tree on Ancestry Thomas H Tingey married Ann Jane Simon in Alderney in 1895 and then married Winnifred Ellen Withers in 1911. If Thomas was a widower then William may have been with grandparents.

	perhaps they didn't do a 1911 census there?
