I'm going back towards the Grimsby option, but perhaps with a lower case G.

Have you got a printer with a scanner.

I thought its wan an F rather than a G, but when you look at the f on Fulham its nothing like it

I've had a look at the certificate and I'd say his middle name was Henry. I'd agree with Lindsey re: the residence.

EDIT: On second thoughts, if you look at the G on Gooch it's nothing like the first letter of what we thought was Grimsby.

Married 20/12/1912 and was 25 at the time.

Bachelor, rnkk profession- shunter.
Residence Harborough ******
Father John Jamieson (deceased) who was a Labourer.

ive no scanner, and cant seem to find him on 1911.
I dont know when his father John died so cant use him as a checking reference on the census. Ive no idea where William jamieson was born, likely to be scotland with that name though.

All the ones ive found on the census of the date of birth 1885-1889 have a father of a different name.

I cant get any further with this branch at the moment.

I have a relative who married in Fulham, London. His place of residence in 1912 was apparantly

its driving me a little mad!
if it helps he was a 'shunter' so i assume he worked on railways, perhaps he had work related lodgings?

Please throw some ideas at me, its terribly loopy writing!
