Member Since: February 2012 Posts: 17 Send Message	hi am new to all of this,been trying for a week now to find birth records for my mother barbara e black ,also my father fred fuller.they married in 1935 surrey.dad may have come from the kent area and mum from maybe the south downs area.have looked at parish records but no joy am realy stuck can anyone help. mum september 1913.dad june 1911.

	If you buy the marriage certificate it will give you their fathers names and occupations which may help to find their parents in the 1911 census and give an idea of where your parents were born. Kath. x

	2 trees on ancestry have her (although they seem a little confused so????) Barbara Ellen Black Birth 20.09.1913 in Elstead, Surrey Death 31.10.1984 in Tongham Surrey they have her parents as Edward Amos Black 1880 – 1951 mary (caroline) green (smith)1885 – 1937 Their children include Elizabeth Caroline Black1910 – 1972 Barbara Ellen Black1913 – 1984 Edith Annie Black1918 – 1970 Walter Edward aka Teddy Black1924 – 1981 Rose Black1926 – 1998 Sam Black1930 – 1998

	Had a pm Angela says NOT Scottish but possible Irish connection Angel if you get the marriage cert for the name and occupation of her father then you could check for him on the 1911 and 1901 Irish census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

	There is a possible birth for Walter in 1924 but no middle name MMN Green The death for Rose is registered as Smith in 1998
