Hi Ian,
They are totally different persons.
The Tasmanian George was born 1870 in VIC and married Ida in 1899 Tasmania...

Your George was still in England 1911..

Hi
Is there any way to check this George Albert's year and place of birth
The one I am searching for was born 1849 Stockport England and married to a Ellen Simpson with children Frederick, Edwin, and Albert not sure when they left the uk but they are believed to be in the Queensland area of Australia in 1918.

That 1925 has the chap living alone as a book-keeper.

According to a tree on Ancestry, this was his family:

Spouse & Children
Ida Alice Ewart 1881 – 1947
Royal Clyde Lloyd 1899 – 1961
George Alexander Lloyd 1916 – 1983
George Alexander Lloyd 1917 – 1952

Wouldn't take that as terribly reliable.
