Many Thanx ,, yes he was born in Halifax Nova Scotia. Are you telling me that he lived his life in Canada & died age 72 in 1921.

What should i do next? Is it poss for me to order the death cert.

Is it possible for anyone to please do a look up as don't have a full sub to Ancestry & have just found a reference for John Cummings b1850 Nova Scotia . Its for Ontario Deaths 1869-1938 & Deaths overseas 1939-1937.

John disappeared after the 1871 census. He first appeared with his family on the 1851 Census for England he was age 1 Woolwich Kent.
1851 has the surname recorded as CUNNING but it is CUMMINGS.
