Hey guys back into doing my tree.I have got a wedding cert of a william worrall to a jane bucknall on 1865.William was 20 at the time of marriage.Bot residance in bilston at time of marriage. Looks like the word for profession for him is miner.His fathers name on the cert is william worrall and looks like he to is a miner.Problem ive got is cant find on any census with a william worrall as a miner with a son named william.Ive found a thomas but completly different name.Any ideas??

Could you post the 1871 census with William and Jane?

maddie yes i saw that age is about right.profession is miner which on his marrage cert is same.Im thinking did he just put down william worrall as father? i thought his father was a thomas worrall from breckonshire

anyone know what birth record i should be looking at so i can order the cert.do i follow the marrage cert ive got dated 1865 and his age on it is 20 so would make him born 1845?

As I put, I cannot see a birth for him on free bmd.
However, if Phebe is his sister, then that could be her birth certificate.
Suggest you look at all your threads to sort out.
It could be that William is with his Mother in 1851 (and Phebe), and then on his own, as posted elsewhere, in 1861, so that he never appears with Father.
I looked for births for William in Dudley to see if anything looked like Worrall or Merrall or anything in-between. Phebe looks better.

I really couldn't say.

I was just going on the fact that Tipton is covered by Dudley.

If you can verify Mary Ann's maiden name from the birth certs of other children it would give you a start.
