So the 1911 I posted showing Ruth (widow) and son Frederick seems to be the right one.

States two children alive so is Olga in hospital the other one?

I'm sure Ruth Hamilton on the 1911 is Ellen J Nairn in 1901

Can't see a marriage that fits.

Do you know of any children they had? When/where born.

I shan't spend any more time until Frederick comes back with more details.

Absolutely no idea if this is the right person:

UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960

Age: 26
Port of Departure: Trinidad
Arrival Date: 2 Oct 1948
Port of Arrival: Liverpool, England

Doubt it's this one. He was an engineer heading home to Glasgow.

Penny

cant see a marriage either

how are you related?

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 9 May 2012 20:31

There's nothing on that 1911 to say where she was born.

There must be thousands of James Browns - how old? Where does he fit in?

Penny

Penny Report 9 May 2012 20:28

I cannot even see her birth. where did the info come from?

Frederick - by family do you mean their ancestors, descendants or siblings?

What else do you know about them?
