Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me... I've hit a bit of a wall with part of my family tree.
A George Whitehead (1811-1882) Married a Maria Smith (1811-1890)
I have found that they had 13 (possibly 14 children).
This is what I'm having trouble with. I have confirmed 13 children via census records etc. However in the 1861 Census, there is a record for a son Called George Whitehead (Born 1859). But upon checking the 1871 census he is then listed as the grandson... An obvious problem... Is anyone able to confirm whether or not this second George is infact a son or a grandson of the first? If so, who his mother/Father is?
