the statement that is made by samuel re-having NO children (on 1911)....left me confused for yrs ...it was only last month that i discovered that the Elizabeth abbott (samuels wife) was not my gt gt grandmother at all and that my actual gt gt grandmother also named Elizabeth abbott died shortly after the birth of my gt uncle Richard.... :-(

the other son was George r Abbott 1878.....i am so sorry/gutted as a actually thought i was onto somthing...i have been trying to fid him for well over five yrs....he did not die young as he is mentioned in the Will of his father (samuel) 1934.....i am proper gutted... :-| :-|

If your Richard was born in 1883 Darlington then why did you say he was born in 1882 in Middlesbrough?

The Richard Abbott in 1911 census married to Flora would seem to have parents Thomas and Elizabeth. If your Richard has different parents then this is probably not him?

its just dorned on me that this richard that catherine has found ,marrying flora probably isnt my richard....as i realised the one with father thomas as found has the same occupation as the one that married flora.....oh poop! :(
