Thank you alviegal......i ordered this the death certificate ....it turned out to bo a cousin of Richards.... and as stated he was alive in 1934...yes those are the correct marriages alviegal |

the statement that is made by samuel re-having NO children (on 1911)....left me confused for yrs ...it was only last month that i discovered that the Elizabeth abbott (samuels wife) was not my gt gt grandmother at all and that my actual gt gt grandmother also named Elizabeth abbott died shortly after the birth of my gt uncle Richard.... :-( |

the other son was George r Abbott 1878.....i am so sorry/gutted as a actually thought i was onto somthing...i have been trying to fid him for well over five yrs....he did not die young as he is mentioned in the Will of his father (samuel) 1934.....i am proper gutted... :-| :-| |

hi catherine .....i have found the births for all three of samuel & elizabeths sons....and the one i have for richard ties with the only one i have info for him on the 1891 census |

The Richard Abbott in 1911 census married to Flora would seem to have parents Thomas and Elizabeth. If your Richard has different parents then this is probably not him? |

its just dorned on me that this richard that catherine has found ,marrying flora probably isnt my richard....as i realised the one with father thomas as found has the same occupation as the one that married flora.....oh poop! :( |

thanks all.....richards parents were samuel and elizabeth abbott living in darlington/durham......i have all census details for samuel & elizabeth including 1901/1911...Richard was not with his parents on both censes... |
