Member Since: May 2012 Posts: 25 Send Message	Please can anyone shed some light upon this marriage? My ancestor Jane Denton was born in Oct 1847 in Sandal, Wakefield. The Birth Certificate is quite legible and states that her father was George Denton, and her mother Martha Denton, nee Day. I can't find any record of a marriage, and Jane is not present in the 1841 Census anywhere in England, and only doubtfully present in 1861 Census--but she did live to marry in 1865 (confirming YOB and Father's name George), and of course she had offspring. Anyone have any ideas please?? from Helix 14.
