Do you KNOW that she is on the 1901 census as living in East Bedfont, Middlesex?


In other words, have taken a free look at the 1901 census on any site, and found that information???



I ask because I have been looking at the 1901 on ancestry, and cannot see a Lillian Hussey born in 1895 +/-2, Wokingham, and living in East Bedfont.


I also looked for Lil*an, and Hus* .... just in case.

That's because it's worked out from age and the census was before her birthday.

Have you actually found her in the 1901 because I'm having trouble locating her?

birth year on any census may be as much as 2 years out .............. depends on when the census was taken vs the actual birth date of the person


The census enumerator asked for the age of the person in years. The modern-day transcriber has to change that into estimated year of birth.


so you should always look for the birth year +/- 2 years.
