GlitterBaby Report 9 Nov 2012 09:43

No there would not be any mention of children if he was a widower in 1911

Did Annie or Florence witness any marriage of their siblings ?

Peter

Peter Report 9 Nov 2012 09:40

Unfortunately their father is a widower in 1911. I didn't notice any mention of children.

Have you found the parents in 1911

It would show how many children born and still alive

Hello Jonesey

The info I was given suggested Annie was a war bride and no info on Florence.

Jonesey Report 9 Nov 2012 09:36

Looking at their ages in 1901 I would say that there is a strong possibility that the "Missing" sisters may have married by 1911. Have you looked for possible marriages for them?

Try looking at www.freebmd.org.uk (A free site)

I have posted the 1901 census and the family can be found at the same address in 1911. ALICE is now married but the two sisters ANNIE and FLORENCE are missing.

Can anyone help find them in the 1911 census as I haven't had any luck on findmypast.

Thanks

Peter
