(a family of ten persons occupied two very objectionable rooms and slept in two beds...in one bed defendants and three of their younger children, in the other were a girl seventeen her brother over sixteen and three other children, whose ages ranged from thirteen to nine years... youngest child aged sixteen months was 7lbs under weight, when admitted to the Workhouse on January 17th...Baby was described as a picture of misery...)

Hi,
I now have the 2 wedding certs for Bessie Moss.
She married a William Jordan in Newton Abbot Sept 15th 1928, they divorced. I can not find anything about the divorce, can anybody.?
2nd Wedding cert to a William James Shepherd - Okehampton, Devon 15th Oct 1942.
The Father of William Shepherd is listed as Joseph, a photographer, I have looked to try and find Joseph/ William on the 1901 / 1911 census,. Can't find them, can anyone help please.?
I have found William Shepherd dob July 31st 1895 with his first wife in Plymouth 1939 register.
Any help with the families would be great.
