Hugh George's will is on Ancestry - it's extremely difficult to read.

From what I can make out he had two sisters - Ann, who was the wife of William James, and Martha wife of John Auberson??

Bulk of his stuff goes to widow Ann and daughter Mary Ann, son Hugh gets a mention too.

Out of all the baptisms that Ann posted, the only other one that was the child of Hugh and Ann was Hugh baptised 1827.

The Thomas Gough George for which information has been provided is the son of a James George (who was a shipwright) and his wife Margaret.

The rest are all the children of a Samuel and Margaret.

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 18 Feb 2014 22:19

Ann - those baptisms you posted may have had the same film number but are not all the children of Hugh and Ann.

For example, this is the baptism of Laura 1830:

Parish Record Collection - Baptism Record

Surname: George

Father is a shopkeeper.
