Hello Carol, did Dorothy have any siblings? If so, was the mother's maiden name the same? |

Thanks - yes, I'm an idiot! Why didn't I think of that? |

Think you need to start with her birth certificate. |

I am trying to find out information about a Dorothy G Phillips born in 1933 Brighton. Her mothers maiden name was Bigeon, which seems to have links to northern France. I have looked at 1901/1911 census, marriage records etc. and can find nothing about a Bigeon family or a Bigeon/Phillips marriage. Can anyone help? |
