Thank you Ann this latest information has given a new window to work from, I feel sure that this Samuel Trotman b I think in 1704 who possibly married Elizabeth Merrick 1708-1771 is as you say the parents of John Trotman Christened Mar 1731, and finally I have to try and fit in John Trotman and Hester Purnell no dates for them I'm afraid, but another family member has told me that this couple fits somewhere in this line. Thank you so much for all the work that you have done Ann most helpful.
