Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me figure this one out please?

Mark was born Q3 1902 Warminster RD and died 05 Oct 1964 in Ilfracombe Devon (Barnstaple RD).

For some reason probate was not granted until 11 March 1966, to Florence Mary Gauntlett, widow.

The only marriage I can see is Warminster RD Q3 1936 to a Muriel Ashworth OR Hewlett-Smith - I assumed Muriel had a previous marriage.

I can find no death for a Muriel Gauntlett that fits between 1936 and 1964, or if he divorced, a second marriage to the declared widow Florence Mary Gauntlett.

I can tell you who Mark's parents and siblings were if that would be of help.
