Trying to locate the following in 1911
George A Wilson born approx. 1888 - 1890 in Sheffield
Clara Wilson born approx. 1881 in Sheffield
Married each other in 1911 and had twins in 1918 Lily and Rose Wilson

Would appreciate a look up if possible on the 1911 census in Sheffield

Thanks in advance for any information

When in 1911 was the marriage?

What were the names of their fathers?

You could look on freebmd for their births for more accurate info, which would make searching a bit easier

Did George really marry a woman 7 years older than himself?

Looks like it - surviving daughter gave me the names of her parents but she can't remember her grandparents or what the A stood for in Georges middle name.
Maybe she was married before him and first husband died but again daughter of them has never said or mentioned this

When did George die?

Clara couldn't have been married before.......she married as Hobson, and that's the MMN on the births

I posted the marriage at 16.37....................had to look for it to know if they would have been married at the time of the census

there are 2 births in sheffield 1888 and1890 and they are both named george arthur wilson how do you know which one is your george arthur?

There are many Wilson births with mother's maiden name Hobson in Sheffield on FreeBMD starting in 1911 but too many to be the same family.

I have seen all the births for Wilson in Sheffield to mothers maiden name of Hobson
Going to ring Lily the daughter later and ask about other siblings
