But still can't see Joseph Charles's birth, Jean, nor his marriage to Margaret (unless she's Louie Mathews).

Not sure about that Mathews/Jackson marriage, Chris.
Margaret's death record posted on page 1 says her parents were Jack Mathews and Sallie Jackson.

Hi everyone who has helped in this search. I have written twice now but it then dissapears so hope you do not get this in triplet. thank you so much glitterbabe Argyllgran Chris and all for all you hard work. Lucy Compton was know as Margaret. Now I know why I cannot find Charles J as he is Joseph Charles. And I did not know charles Wife was a Mathew I found a King but its wrong.Also did not know she went to America with children.But!!!have some photos of my Husbands Aunt who visited and the people she is with match Christian names. Its breathtaking as my Husband was addopted and now he can see his family tree.Thank you again Jean.
