	What was the name of his first child please? Where was the child born? Where did the child marry? How do you know William's year of birth please? How do you know that he married in Glasgow?

	If he married in Scotland you need Scotlands People website which is pay to view and not a subs site I,m afraid You could narrow the year down by looking at the birth of any children they had and listed on the later census
